Thaddonai

Thaddonai is a myth that we had to do an illustration about. Basically it's about this guy who likes birds and one day gives his life to try and save three bird eggs. I tried to do a drawing of this guy in his element, in the happier days of his life.

 First with just traditional materials

And then with a little bit of Photoshop failure. I've never really been a fan of photoshop stuff, but I'm trying to force myself to expand my territory a bit. Slow steps, but eventually I'll get somewhere.

The coolest thing I've done so far?

No clue really. I had an idea that played around with in thumbnails and then I went for it on a new tan tone sketchbook and I like it. I think this could be the coolest drawing I've ever done to date.

Pen Skratches

I'm kinda in a bit of a funk. It's never anything serious, but I'm affected nonetheless. I'm drawing my way through it as usual.

1 hour ink sketch

I did this in one hour with my brush and a vivid image of how James Harren tends to ink in my head. I really like his work and right now it kinda looks like I'm biting it wayyyy too hard. Still I like this drawing and I'm learning to have fun with the brush, so it's not all bad.
