Sketchbook stuff

I started a sketchbook for Figure drawing and gestures yesterday, here are some of the first few pages of it.

These last two are from my current "everything and anything goes" sketchbook.

BATTLE 3!! Nate vs Lance

Awesome battle against a talented friend of mine, we started the battle pretty late in the evening, I'm sure he would've done more if he had time. Either way, this was really fun. I inked it after the fact, but the blue line is what I did in the actual battle. Also, I spilled ink on his side accidentally and tried to white it out.... sorrrry!

Skratchdump

I'm on a mission to work really hard lol so I'm drawing a lot. But now, I'm gonna to draw a lot more than that. Here's some sketches ending with today's.

 I like the head of  the dude holding the skateboard in this one ^^

Today's work. I like the little kid, the four armed dude, the three inked heads and the red and green figure. Making some progress methinks.

What's Been Eating Me

So I had a  wave of negativity overtake me last night while I was about to sleep, and I decided to through it on a sheet of paper because I don't need that garbage hanging around my thoughts.Doing so managed to do exactly that and now I'm happy haha. Chickasaw Project

Had to do pencils for a script that wasn't the most clear read in existence. Here's what I came up with. Keep in mind, these are all bad. there's some good elements to em, but they're mainly here to show future me that there is hope.

More Skratches

Practicing putting figures down in perspective, and practicing the cyrillic alphabet. It's wrong as written here. I got a revised version that will be in my later pages I'm sure.

Skratches from in class. There's a couple cool things going on here. In the top right is a conversation between me and this kid in class, I looked through his sketchbook, which was good, but FULL of penises. so I was like you're good cept for that stuff, then he said what he said. Over on the left there's a weird demon looking face with a bunch of weird teeth. That was inspired by a gnarly tree trunk that I saw while waiting for the bus. below that is a dude with a crustean-like claw arm. Below that are the words "Pistol Shrimp" Youtube that bad boy if you don't already know what it's about, easily one of the most badass creatures in existence. And finally to the right of that is a drawing a a kid in class that I really like. Definitely feel like I caught him fairly well, unlike everyone else on the page.

These sketches are just playing around with the inks. I've liked drawing violent scenes since I was in middle school, but I stopped because it wasn't proper. But I've decided to bring it back because it's exciting and fun.

A few Sketches more

Stuff I've been doodling in class and out of it lately :

 Wrestler Dude from earlier sketchdump. Maybe I'll use him somehow, but for now he's too generic and thereby just a fun thing to sketch.

This is from Shsakespeare class today... It's a cool class and the teacher doesn't mind me listening from my sketchbook so what's not to like?

Every feel depressing or negative thoughts creep up on ya? I did today and I was like noooooo way. So I decided to put all that self-loathing into a sketch and leave it there and you know what? I feel better now. Sometimes you gotta let that s*** go.

Saint Patty's Day wasn't that eventful for drawing for me. everything I did that day save for this page felt stale.

Character Design Final

I had to pitch to the class an animation based on the characters I created. Here's the character designs and the animatic. I fully intend to tighten this story and create a short animation film with it, that would be awesome.

Mason Vekys

This is an older drawing of the main character for my skate story, Mason Vekys. I forgot to upload it then so I am now.
