Adventure Time Character Designs

For Char. Design class we had to create characters that would fit in the Adventure Time world. I think these designs are okay.

Digital Coloring

NOT MY LINE ART!! this is just the photoshop applied color job I did for it. I had the devil's own time trying to do these in one night, but some how I got through them with time to spare. I didn't think I was gonna finish these, and I didn't like them the entire time I was doing them, I had to force myself to zombie through it. Also, The didn't turn out as bad as I thought they would be. So moral of the story, even if you hate it, see it through to the end, it may yet surprise you (whatever IT may be).

Weirder-ness

I found out three things with this drawing. first, I'm not Katsuya Terada. second, I need to draw more women. and finally, I still love my pink pen.

Coupla Sketches

I draw a whooooooole lot. But only a little is worth showing. I've decided to streamline my sketches and things so that only the dopest and most interesting stuff comes out. So for each work I upload from now hence, understand that there are at least 4 that I don't like lol. idk I just want to put the best representation of my work out there rather than every blessed thing I've done

No clue, there were some life drawings tied into this one, but it was just an excuse to draw pink stuff which I love doing right now. Ho Hum. I'll do better with the upcoming projects and sketches. I'll keep doing better and one day, I'll be good at this.

Character Designs

I'm in a Character Design Class, first assignment was to design 3 characters, a good guy, a bad guy, and the bad guy's minion based on a random prompt written by one of our classmates. The prompt I got was "Escape the Mine." Below are the designs I came up with pretty much tonight. I'll color it if I can get my other homework done first.

pink stuff

this is a drawing that took waaay too long. maybe 4 days. it's random stuff outta my head that I had fun drawing for the most part. I kinda rushed it because there's 4 or 5 pages left of my Rendr sketchbook and I want to be done with it. move on. Sidenote, I really LOVE the pink pen that I used for this. my next sketchbook will have a LOT of it.

The Turning Point(s)

This piece started out being a multi-page goodbye to my sucky drawings of the past, but I couldn't stand the pages at the end and they're barren because of it. So while I do think this was a turning point in my sketchbook drawings, it won't be as grand as I'm sure it would like to be.

The page on the right was a salute to my influences, you'll note the works of katsuhiro otomo, james harren, tradd moore and takehiko inoue. There are more artists that I love, but those were the ones who I decided to study at the time.

Never got around to finishing these pages, don't plan on it either. I got too hung up trying to make these pages the ultimate whatever and I can't work that way haha.

This is just busy work. nun too special, I just want to try to get in the habit of posting like crazy again.

This is a random armored lizard thing. it start from a few random strokes that turned into the helmet and then I just ran with it. straight Brush and ink nothing else.

The heads were randoms plus me, and the ink sketches were exploring using economic brush strokes, trying to capture as much of the figure as possible in the fewest strokes. still needs work, but it's something I'm really interested in pursuing for another time

A Massive Idiot

Haven't had scanner access for like 4 days and now I have at least 4 days worth of stuff to scan.
